Neutrals
Finally a glimpse of what lies ahead for the interior design! I have so many ideas swimming around in my head sometimes I feel like exotic underwater sea creatures have invaded my brain. As things unfold we will dive into each room and color choice but for now let’s chat about the living/dining/kitchen paint color ideas. Side note, this is more of a neutral vibe but don’t worry there’s lots of sassy color schemes to come!
For me there’s just something so warming about glowy white walls, earth toned accents, natural wood elements mixed with rustic textures, countered by luxurious plush fabrics. It’s that same spark I get when indulging in a salted caramel ice-cream with decadent chocolate swirls. Comfort and decadence all in one! A couple interior designers that I’m #obessedwith (Mikel Welch, McGee and CO.) navigate creamy neutrals so blissfully that I just love drawing inspiration from their styles.
There are three Benjamin Moore paint choices I’m heavily considering for this part of the house. Simply White has the slightest amount of warmth to it, which helps to avoid a gray undertone, yet is still opulent like a meringue . Seashell twinkles with a bit more pigment giving it a touch of honey glow. Lastly, Cloud White instantly transforms a space to feel airy and whimsical almost like a whipped coconut cream. All three of these options look fantastic next to a glossy white trim. As soon as we have some walls to paint you can bet these three charming colors will be put to the test for the ultimate color decision!
P.S. And now I’m wanting ice-cream, meringue, and frosting…You should probably have some too so we can be in this together.
