Cake Maternity Review…
Since the Boss (T.J.) is back and renovations are in full swing again I figured I would take a moment to talk about the other big addition in our lives. Being pregnant while taking on a huge house renovation project is definitely exciting and I must admit a little exhausting too. I’m sure other Moms To-Be can relate, but there is nothing like putting on your favorite comfy clothes, propping your feet up, and relaxing. Which brings me to a review of Cake Maternity brand.
I’m just going to start out by saying I love it! I will get into the details but first, I hands down adore this line. The attention to detail, the way they understand what looks and feels right on an almost daily changing body is really spot on. In this photo I’m wearing the Rhubarb Torte Nursing Cami and matching PJ pant. The cami has a shelf-bra and drop down cups for breastfeeding. The pants sit comfortably below the bump and don’t dig in at all. You guys, this cotton blend fabric is incredibly soft and breathable. I feel secure but not restricted in the slightest which makes for a great nights sleep. One of my favorite details about this set is the delicate ruffles on the cami straps…I’m seriously considering tossing my sweat pants and living in Cake Maternity from now on. The comfort and cuteness level are unlike so many other maternity brands.
As if the Pajama Set wasn't enough motivation to check out CM here’s another gem! I also have the Milk Bamboo Lux Sleep and Nursing Bra (picture shown on our Instagram page) that is hands down what should be winning an Oscar. Yep I said it…It’s a bra that’s Oscar worthy. How they’ve managed to keep the girls in place as well as look cute is truly something to brag about. It makes me feel like I’m wearing a cute normal bra and not some preggo hoots contraption. Dare I even say it…I feel cute and a little sassy!
To top it off, CM has really high standards and sustainability practices too. Not only will you feel like never changing out of their clothes but you can feel REALLY good about how they are made. They use GOTS and Oeko-Tex Standard materials, packaging is all recyclable, and they are very conscious to make as little impact on the planet as possible.
In my honest and humble opinion I give Cake Maternity 5 stars! Check out this line. While you are doing that and T.J. is working on the house, I think I’ll lounge a little bit longer in my new pajamas and maybe even eat this cupcake.
